The Chaplain the of the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton (UEAB) is Rei Towet Kesis. He is a native of Mt Elgon in Western Kenya. He is a trained and ordained Pastor of the Seventh-day Adventists. He holds a BA in Theology from the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton, an MA in Pastoral Theology from the Adventist University of Africa and a PhD in Religious Studies from Kenyatta University.
He loves the LORD and strives to convince many to follow God’s will. He has served in Chaplaincy for over 10years and has been instrumental in winning many young people to a better life in Christ Jesus. He is the chief advisor to the Vice-Chancellor of the university in spiritual matters. He leads a team of able church leaders in providing a quality service. He serves as one of the University Administrators. He also teaches at the Department of Theology and Religious Studies.
