Since You Must Choose, Choose Wisely
Joshua 24:15 “But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”
1 Kings 18:21 “Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.” But the people said nothing.”
Life is a series of choices. Choices forge direction. Choices waste opportunities and choice positively exploit them. Since we must choose, choose wisely. Choosing means preferring one over the other. One competing interest over the other. Choosing we must, therefore let us choose wisely.
Failure to choose, is a choice to remain where you are. Failure to choose is to reject the better option and remain at the poor option where you are. Failure to choose is not a wise choice. Failure to choose is a poor choice. Since we must choose, choose wisely.
Choosing requires wisdom. Choosing requires analysis to determine what is a priority and what can wait. Choosing requires courage and determination to reject an enticing option and embrace what is right. Since we must choose, choose wisely!
