Guided By Closed Doors!

Acts 16:6 “Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, *having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching* the word in the province of Asia. *(16:7)* When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but *the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them* to.”

Apostles went from place to place preaching. They got opportunity to preach in many places. But our text today observes that they also failed to access certain places where they wanted to go and preach. The doors were closed.

The Apostles concluded that the closed doors were God’s guidance. In Acts 16:10 after all closed doors…God opens an opportunity for them in Macedonia which effectively took the gospel to Europe and from there to the whole world. The closed doors were guidance to better opportunities.

Why are closed doors a guidance from God? Because God is able to do anything – no door stands closed against His will. Nothing is impossible with God! If God closes a door it’s because He wants it closed not because He can’t open it. If God closes a door it’s because He wants you to keep going to a better door. If God closes a door, He has an open one ahead keep going. Don’t stop at a closed door!

Closed doors are God’s guidance to a prayerful believer. God guides by closed doors. Don’t stop at a closed door, keep going He has an open one ahead.

What doors are closed today? Doors to ministry? Door to a certain job? Doors to a certain business opportunity? Doors to professional growth? Doors to a relationship with a certain person? Doors to good health? A closed door is not the only door God created!

May you be guided today to better opportunities by all the doors that have closed or are closing in your life. May God guide you to excellence and success through doors He closes…in the name of Jesus. Amen! (C)

*(Kindly a note to a few whom it concerns…as you read these words…its dishonest to share after editing out the authorship…)* May God bless you and make every closed door a step to a great opportunity! Amen
