God Will Make It Clear
Philippians 3:15 “All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you.”
In the previous verses, Paul writes to the Philippians that he is not yet mature, not yet perfect, and not yet attained the goal that God set for Him. He confesses that he is on the race, forgetting the past achievements and striving to achieve what God has planned for him. He is focused on doing God’s will for His life. Paul now concludes ironically that, those who think that, unlike him, they are mature, they too should be focused on God’s will. Paul urges those who think they are mature to focus on doing God’s will, whatever they are in doubt of from Paul’s teachings, God will make it clear.
Those who think they are mature, perfect and knowledgeable are normally arrogant and difficult to teach. They have a reason to doubt everything and everyone, except themselves and their ilk. They even convince others to doubt. Since the all knowing cannot accept to be taught by those they look down upon, Paul tells them, God will make clear what they currently dispute. God will make it clear!
What we refuse to learn from those God appointed, God will make it clear. God will make it clear as a last resort. God knows us so well and at the right time He will deliver an unforgettable lesson. God will make it clear!
When someone cannot be sympathetic of others predicament, because they are all knowing and can never be in such situations, God will make it clear. They will soon be so desperate for sympathy and the importance of sympathy will be made clear to them. God will make it clear. Are you unable to forgive and forget? You will soon need someone to to forgive and forget your wrong doing, and thus God would have made it clear. Do you find difficulty to reconcile? God will make it clear that you need to reconcile. Are people poor and suffering because of their foolishness and you are not yet clear why you should help them? God will make it clear.
Paul pleads with those who are all knowing and are arrogantly engaging others, to be polite and focus on God’s will and unity of the church. Don’t focus on disagreements, whatever is unclear is God’s assignment. God will make it clear. Don’t divide the church, don’t plant resentment against leaders and don’t agitate divisive teachings that are controversial. Whatever is unclear, will be made clear by God! Unless you suspect God is incompetent to help in the situation and only you can intervene, which is ironically foolish. Pray and trust God to intervene and lead His church. God will make it clear.
God makes it clear because the church is His and because we refuse to listen to appointed leaders. But also God makes it clear because He is a revealer of mysteries, Daniel 2:28 “but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries…” Do you wish to have something in your life made clear? Why you are suffering? Why you didn’t get the chance you prayed for? Why the sickness? Why the death? Why God allowed you into this or that to happen? Why the many blessings and favors from God? If you pray and wait on God, He will make it clear and you will be at peace.
May God make it clear for us today in Jesus name. Amen! (C)email@example.com (do not delete any part of this post, including this. You are free to share these posts but don’t edit the authorship or content… thank you and be blessed!)
